Jesse C. Reyes was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 23, 1944 and completed his life journey on August 15, 2020 with his loving family at his side. He died on a beautiful day – the day of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 56 years, Andrea and three children, Oscar (Jenna), Jessica Fernandez, and Smitty (Kristen). He had eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, eight siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he loved dearly.

Jesse was a good, kind man with a big heart, who worked alongside his son, Oscar, for 33 years at Triten Corporation in Houston, Texas. He was humble and creative and loved to BBQ, sing, and fish late into the night with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but will remain forever in our hearts and memories.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jesse's doctors and caregivers in Houston and Corpus Christi, as well as to prayer warriors across the country. They would also like to ask you to wear a mask and social distance and remember to tell your family and friends that you love them always.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a holy mass will be held by INVITATION ONLY at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. Date and time TBD.

The family welcomes donations to The Alzheimer's Association as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
