Jerry Glen Wilmore, passed away May 6, 2017. He was 53 years old. Jerry was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 25, 1963 to, Lyman Weeks Wilmore and Wilma A. Robertson Wilmore.

He is preceded in death by parents; and sisters, Judith A. Cliff and Janette Williams.

Jerry leaves behind his sisters: Sandy Heiermann of Longview, TX, Janice Webster of Corpus Christi, TX, Joyce Darouse of Smithdale, MS; longtime companion; Paula Bearden of Corpus Christi, TX; children: Justin Moon, Tasha Moon, and Marisa Brewer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was P.A. in nursing at DeTar Hospital in Victoria, Texas, associated with professional baseball, played with minor league team, the Victoria Pirates also in Victoria, TX. His love of baseball continued as he coached little league for the Coastal Bend Little League in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jerry was an avid member of Covenant Baptist Church in Corpus Christi.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 11 starting at 2 p.m. at Covenant Baptist Church 7001 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas

Jerry was a juvenile diabetic, his concern for the cause lead him to be a member of the American Diabetes Association. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the organization in Jerry's honor.
