Jeremy Wayne Cogsdell passed away on June 19th 2020 at the age of 49. He was born in Pasadena, TX on May 11th 1971 to Jamie Ann Cook-Cogsdell and William Dexter Cogsdell. Jeremy moved to his family farm in Robstown, where he graduated Robstown high school in 1989. Two months later he met the love of his life, Amber Nicole Scruggs-Cogsdell and married in 1997.

Jeremy and Amber raised two amazing boys, Alston and Julian Cogsdell,and in 2015 gained guardianship of John Rafael Ruiz helping him graduate from high school. Jeremy was a man who loved to help his neighbors and friends. He was a man with an immense spark and passion for life. He enjoyed shooting his bow, flying his drone, cycling, and camping trips with family and friends. He always made everyone laugh and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jamie Ann Cook-Cogsdell.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Amber Nicole Scruggs-Cogsdell; his sons, Alston Martin Cogsdell and Julian Chase Cogsdell; Alston's girlfriend, Emily Deleon; his father, William Dexter Cogsdell; his brother Alston Clifford Cogsdell; his sister-in-law, Tami Cogsdell; two nephews; two nieces; two great nephews, and one great niece. His memory will live on and he will be forever in our hearts.

The family will begin gathering at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service to celebrate his life to be held at 3 p.m. that afternoon.
