Jeremy "J.B." Baker, 23, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2016. He was born in Texarkana, Texas on January 28, 1993. He was a graduate of Carroll High School where he played basketball and football, and was a current student at Texas A & M University and was to graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. He was preceded in death by a brother, Derrick Woodley. J.B. was an amazing young man and impacted the lives of so many people and he loved the Lord. He is survived by his mother, Sonya R. Woodley, his father, James M. Baker, four brothers, James Baker, Dwayne R. Woodley, Danqui Woodley, Justin M. Baker, two sisters, Jasmine M. Woodley Baker and Dejuanna La Shae Chamel Beecham, a grandmother, Corine Baker, and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship 6602 S. Staples. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery. Special thanks from the family of J.B. your many deeds and words of comfort that you have so warmly shared during this sad hour in our lives shall be nourishment for our hearts for many days to come.
