It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Joe Vera of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was called up to heaven at the young age of 18 on October 10 th , 2022.

Jeremiah was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rebecca (Alejandro) Vasquez and Joe (Kristie) Vera on September 29, 2004. He was a senior at Richard King High School and was on track to graduate in May of 2023. He had a great love for musicand his friends and a greater love for his family; especially his sisters Justyne and Madeleine and little brothers Aj, Luke, and Rico. Even at Jeremiah's young age he had alreadyaccomplished so much. He worked diligently the last two summers saving his money to buy himself his own car and an apartment all before his 18th birthday. His carefree spirit, beautiful smile and crazy sense of humor will forever be missed.

Jeremiah is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David R. Vera.

He is survived by his parents, siblings, grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Guardian Funeral Home chapel "B" (5522 Crosstown Corpus Christi, TX. 78417) on Monday, October 17 th from 4:00pm- 8:00pm, with evening services starting at 6:30pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18 th at 10:00am at Guardian Funeral Home. Rev. John Fletcher of Kelsey Memorial will officiate. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX. 78412) at 11:30am.
