Jennifer Elizalde Ayala

June 13,1972 - August 4,2022

Jennifer E. Ayala of Corpus Christi passed away at the age of 50.

Jennifer E. Ayala was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She spent her life growing up on Elvira St. "Mo Town". She loved and lived for her grandchildren. Jennifer worked at Stripes as a assistant manager for 9 years and also worked in transportation taking patients to appointments. She will be remembered as a funny and kind woman who brought so much happiness and touched many hearts.  Jennifer was known as a jokester and for giving everyone nicknames. She always had the best snacks. Haha, she used to cook sitting down while asking the kids to get all the ingredients. She never took anything too seriously and loved making inappropriate jokes. Jennifer was the cool aunt.

Jen was common law married to Joe Figueroa and had two children Anthony E. Figueroa (Brenda) and Nicole Elizalde Lopez (Janina) along with her grandchildren, Alanna, JoJo, and Kendrick. She also had a precious dog named, Elli-Elsa that she loved very much. Jennifer was the best grandma anyone can ask for. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Christina Urtado, Josie Cabrera, and Jessica Figueroa (Richard). Jennifer will also be missed by numerous of nephews and nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Delia Elizalde and her brothers, Joe and Albert Elizalde.

Public visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home.
