Javier Rojas Sr., 56, passed away on April 18, 2017. He was born in Corpus Christi on September 13, 1960. He worked as a corrections officer for the Nueces County Sheriff Dept until his retirement in 2015. Javier's passions in life were Golf, Spurs, Dallas Cowboys and singing, but most important, his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodrigo S. Rojas, Jr, and Christina Rojas; grandparents, Rodrigo S. Rojas, Sr and Antonia Rojas. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Betty Rojas; son, Javier Rojas, Jr (Venesa); brother, Simon Rojas (Tonie); sister, Criselda Gutierrez; grandchildren, Zarah, Zeryk, Zayda, and Zia.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at New Life Church at 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m.
