On Saturday, November 6th 2021, Javier Sosa a loving, smart, kind, and devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and friend passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 57. He was born in Ixtacalco, Mexico but spent most of his life, since the age of 17, here in Corpus Christi Texas. He was the first born of Maria Elena Lobato and fourth born of Jose Antonio Sosa Martinez. He was a very hard working man. He worked in construction while living in Mexico. He came to the United States of America to fulfill the "American Dream". He started working in the kitchen of Denny's and then the Kettle Restaurant.

After learning all that he could in the kitchen. He studied towards his CDL and began his career driving cement mixers. He was currently working with Quality Ready Mix. He loved and appreciated his career of over twenty years, driving many of the cement trucks around town. He married his wife Norma Diaz on May 20th 2013 and had three handsome little boys. Jose Arnulfo Sosa, Javier Sosa Jr., and Julian Alejandro Sosa. Javier loved staying busy by DJing, fixing up his house, and spending time with his kids by bike riding, playing ball, going to the park. He was always available to help those in need, no matter who they were. Whether all they need was advice or just a helping hand. He always made sure his parents were well taken care of and called them every Sunday.

He is preceded in death by his sister Margarita Sosa.

He is survived by his wife of ten years Norma Diaz, three daughters Michel (Jonathan) Thanpho, Maria I. Trejo Diaz, Maria G. Trejo Diaz, three sons Jose Sosa, Javier Sosa Jr, Julian Sosa, and one grandson Mason Thanpho, his parents Maria Elena Lobato & Jose Sosa, three sister Conceptcion Sosa, Isabel Sosa, Sofia Sosa, two brothers Alberto Sosa and Otilio Sosa and multiple nephews and nieces.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, at Guardian funeral home chapel.  Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Nuestra Senora de San Juan de Los Lagos, Madre de la Iglesia Parish 1755 Frio St.
