Mr. Javier "Hiran" Rios, passed away January 2, 2020 at the of 55.
He was born on March 3, 1964 in Nueces County.
He is preceded in death by his mother Julia "Enolia" S. Rios.

Hiran leaves behind to cherish his memories, father Jose G. Rios; siblings: Jose H. Rios, Melinda A. Rios; sons: Andres Rios, Enrique Rios; numerous aunts, uncles and cousin whom he adored.

He was a loving father, who would give anything to see his children happy. He always knew the value of hard work as he dedicated his time working at Church's and the H-E-B warehouse. In his younger years, a perfect day for Hiran would be out fishing on a pier or in the middle of a field, hunting wildlife, with his grandfather. He always enjoyed camping and being by the water at Garner State Park. He was a very good brother and will be missed by all who loved him dearly.

A special thank you to Mary Helen, who took care of him, without hesitation, during his last days, your kindness brings joy to our hearts.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Guardian funeral home chapel starting at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic church.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
