Javier A. Reyes passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 51.

He was born on November 08, 1969 in Corpus Christi, Texas to his loving parents Felipe Lara and Maria A. Lara

Javier joins now in heaven his older brother Johnny A. Garcia.

It is impossible to capture the love which Javier provided to his family in only a few words. He was a humble man who was always ready to give and help anyone in need. He was an honorable son, a loving father and grandfather, a caring and kind brother and a loyal friend. He was an electrician by trade and an all around very hard worker. Everything he set out to do, he did it with dedication and love. He enjoyed family time, dancing, hanging out with friends, and simple pleasures. He loved football and was a die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His passing leaves so many heartbroken. He will be missed dearly by his parents and his entire family. The legacy that he leaves will live on for generations to come.

Javier is survived by his parents: Felipe & Maria Lara; sisters: Sandra Reyes, Cindy Torres; brother: Gerardo Reyes; his son Javier Phillip Reyes; daughters: Lisette Reyes, Ivanna Reyes; step children: Tomas Cantu, Monica Cantu, Anthony Maldonado, & Leilani Morales; along with numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends whom he loved.

Public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel A with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel A.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
