Javier Cantu of Corpus Christi Texas died Monday September 24th 2018 surrounded by his daughters and loved ones.
He was born on July 3, 1955 in Corpus Christi Texas. Javier was the beloved father of Mellissa Clearman (Kyle Clearman) and Brandy Celedon (Rick Celedon) ; grandfather to Hillary and Leonard Merino Jr. and Shelby Celedon; great grandfather to Hunter and Holden Pena.
Javier was the beloved brother to Socorro Avila (Vincent) Minerva Trevino, David Cantu, Vito Cantu, Sylvia Cavada (Charles) and Ana Navarro.
The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, September 27, at Guardian funeral home at 6:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 3502 Saratoga Blvd. All services will conclude at the church.
