IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice A.
Andreas
November 8, 1943 – July 13, 2021
"Mom's Story"
Janice Ann Andreas peacefully passed away, on July 13, 2021, at home, with her beloved husband by her side. Janice was wife to Robert "Bob" Andreas, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.
Janice was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 8, 1943. She was the daughter of Michael and Helen Semega. She went to grade school at St. Boniface, in her home town of Penn, PA, and Penn Joint High School. Janice spent some time working at Jeanette Glass, in her early years. She was later blessed to meet Bob, fall in love, and was married. Janice was a superb homemaker, wife, mother and friend. She easily shared her faith in Jesus with Bob, and with others she met. These skills also made her an outstanding role model for others to look up to, including members of her church, neighborhood community, and also includes the friends of her children…which has been proclaimed. Along with her poise came power. Along with her soft heart, came strength. She was amazing.
Janice was a member of Christ Chapel, in Florence, AL and Gardendale Baptist, in Corpus Christi TX. Janice also attended a mission trip to Columbia, in which she was able to share her faith on the mission field. Her favorite hobbies included working the concession stand, with Bob, during Kristie's high school band performances, volunteering at a local hospital, gardening, and was quite the whiz with her crossword puzzles. According to Bob, and many others, "Jan was one of the world's best cooks and bakers".,
She is survived by Bob (husband), Bob (son), Kristie (daughter), Armando (son-n-law), Donna Semega (sister), Marianne Painter (step-sister), Amy Tucker (Niece), and her 3 children Vinnie, Gianna, and Nico, and Christine Sechler (Niece).
