IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James
Meyers
February 15, 1942 – August 12, 2024
James or "Jimmy" as most people knew him, came from a large family of 4 brothers and 4 sisters. In addition to his parents, William & Rita Meyers, he is preceded in death by his son, Candido F Meyers, brothers William, Candido and David, and his sister Rita. He is survived by his brother Carl and three sisters, Ramona, Ruthie and Sophie.
Born and raised in Rhode Island, Jimmy became the ultimate carpenter and excellent businessman. He raised his three children, Candido, Rosary and Christopher with his first wife Katherine.
After moving to Texas, he continued his construction company and teaching his children the fine art of building and superb work ethics. Shortly thereafter, Jimmy became Chief Engineer of an established executive office complex. He was an up and rising efficient employee until he was 78 years old.
He remarried at the age of 43 to Sara and had two more children, Samantha and Richard. His family grew along with his love and kindness. He is also survived by his wife, Sara, children, Rosary, Christopher, Samantha and Richard. He has 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Along with five stepchildren, several more grandchildren and great grandchildren
Jimmy was loved by many, idolized by several and will be missed by all. He had a mean tough exterior but a warm soft interior. He was an excellent father, an outstanding husband and an amazing brother. Jimmy always had a beer for a friend and a helping hand for a neighbor. God is getting not only a hero but a warrior as well
