James Drew Hodson,63, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, September 7 2014.
Jim spent his final days surrounded by his wife, children & grandchildren.
Jim was born on October,24,1950 & was the 3rd son to the widow Ruby Hodson & the late Ivan hodson.
as a boy Jim grew up in Muncie Indiana where he grew a deep love of baseball.
as a very young man Jim traveled the united states before settling in Corpus Christi Tx, where he made his home of more than 40 years.
This is where he met his sweetheart of 36 years Dixie Jane Hodson (Wentz)
together they built a family of 5 children,5 grandchildren & 1 great grandbaby.
The hodson family, better known as "The Hod Squad" enjoyed doing many outdoor activities together, the most of which was boating & water sports, where you would always find Jim @ the helm of his vessel doing what he loved with who he loved.
Jim is survived by his wife Dixie Hodson, his children Renee Hodson, Bonnie Hodson, James Adams, Joshua Hodson & Amber Hodson. 5 grandchildren Amanda Hodson, Savannah Sergent, Anthony Viramontez, Sydney Viramontez & Alexia Pena. 1 great grandbaby Carson
his mother Ruby Hodson, brothers Gary Hodson & Michael Hodson , sister Beth Angel,and numerous nieces & nephews
Jim is predeceased by his father Ivan Hodson, nephews Kevin Hodson & Eli Karac Yeager & life long dear friend Greg Enochs
