James Olan Grabbs, 54 of Corpus Christi, TX
7-19-1965 to 12-24-2019

James went home to his eternal resting place on December 24, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his both maternal and paternal grandparents; his step father – Walter E. Veselka Jr.; father – Gene F. Grabbs; step mother – Louise Grabbs; brother – David G. Grabbs, Sr.; and twin brothers; brother-in-law – James Clark and sisters-in-law – Buffie Veselka and Lynda Grabbs.

James is survived by his wife of 19.5 yrs – Margie Alexander; mother – Ila Rae Veselka; sisters: Kimberly (Todd) House of Taft, Mary Clark of Corpus Christi, Debbie Wood of WA; brothers: Walter (Karen) Veselka, III of CT, Harvey Veselka of San Antonio, Michael Veselka of Corpus Christi, Bill (Denise) Wood of Carrizo Springs, Michael Wood of Corpus Christi and James Wood of Orange Grove; 4 Children: William (Sonja) Grabbs of PA, Lucas (Brittany) Grabbs of WI, Alyssa (Andy) York of PA and MaShon (Chris) Fielder of Leander; also 10.5 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The celebration of his life will be held at St Luke's United Methodist Church, 3151 Reid Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78404, on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 am. A reception to follow after the conclusion of the service.
