James Thomas "Buddy" Hrncir passed away August 12, 2023, in Corpus Christi Bay Area Medical Center at the age of 75. He was born in Taylor, Texas, graduated from UT Austin, and lived in Corpus Christi. He worked for HEB, Schubert Distribution, and retired from A&I Coin Sales.

He is survived by sister Suzanne Koepke of Dallas, sister-in-law Jeanine Hrncir of Cibolo, nieces and nephews Kim & Brad Morgan of Dallas, Paula Thomas, John T. & Wendy Hrncir, Jennifer Hrncir, and Kristine & Greg Trcka, all from the San Antonio area, their respective families, and a multitude of friends and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by parents, John & Claudia (Kopecky) Hrncir of Taylor, brother John Albert Hrncir and nephew Paul (PJ) Hrncir of San Antonio.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to an Animal Shelter/Animal Rescue of choice.

Special thanks go out to the 3rd Floor ICU staff, Corpus Christi Hospice, and Guardian Funeral Home for the wonderful care given our brother and uncle.
