It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jaime Solis, age 55, announce his passing on December 30th, 2020. He was born on April 2nd, 1965 in Monterrey, Mexico to his parents Jaime and Maria Solis.

Jaime was the oldest of 8 children and will be remembered by all of his family for his lovable, selfless  nature. He graduated class of '84 from Mary Carroll High School. He was employed at H&V Equipment Services, with previous jobs including CC Frieghtliner, Woody's Fabrication, etc. He had a love for cars, which can be noticeably seen within his career history, especially his 1963 Nova. He also had a love for drafting and drawing, a trait he passed on to his daughter.

There is not one soul that has one negative thing to say about Jaime. He always took up the chance to help others whether they were family or not. He has left a heartwarming trail of jokes, stories, and laughs behind with everyone who was blessed to know him.

He is preceded in death by his father Jamie C. Solis. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Lenda J. Guerra-Solis; his daughter: Anastasia C. Guerra; his mother: Maria Solis; sisters: Sandra Hernandez (David), Carmen Jasso (Serafin), Claudia Perez (Juan), Alejandra Solis (Emiliano), Karina Anzures (Jesus); brothers: Cesar Solis (Hellen) and Eddie Solis; along with numerous nieces and nephews that will remember his loving ways, including one special niece: Pamela L. Guerra, that he treated as his own.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Wedne sda y, January 13, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with the Chapel Service to begin at 11:30 am that morning.

Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Seaside Memorial Park 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX 78412

Serving as active pallbearers will be: Cesar Solis, Eddie Solis, Adrian Jasso, Louis Jasso, Noah Guerra, Gilbert Reyes, Tracey Jackson and Tito Mata. Honorary pallbearers include: Emiliano Solis and Zarin Guerra.
