Jaime "James" Peralez, beloved husband, father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly June 12, 2023.
Born January 29, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, James was the third son of Inez Peralez and Maria O. (Peralez) Ruiz. From an early age, he was instilled with the strong values of hard work, compassion and devotion to his family.

He was a hardworking man, and not liking to be bored, often worked multiple jobs at a time. He worked at NAS Corpus Christi for the last 24 years, first with Doss Aviation and most recently with LB&B Associates. He also owned Bks Sports Bar until 2011, where he made numerous friends and acquaintances.

James always made himself available to family and friends whenever his help was needed. No task was too small or too big for him to handle or help with. His hobbies included cooking BBQ, spending time with his children, watching football and most recently his children's baseball/softball games.

He was predeceased in death by his father Inez Peralez and his stepfather Rudy Ruiz.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Michelle (Shelly); children Jessica (Leeroy) Esquivel, Brooke Peralez, and Hunter Peralez; his mother Maria O. Ruiz; his aunt Lupe Alcoser; his sister Juanie Peralez; his brothers Jesse Peralez, Joe Peralez, Javier Peralez and Jason (Angelica) Peralez; cousins Loretta Alcoser (Ruben) and Nathan Alcoser. He is also survived by his four grandchildren EJ, Jesslin, Jessile and Elijah; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was loved by too many to list but touched by them all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 6301 Yorktown Blvd.
