Israel Scott, Sr. was born and raised in Corpus Christi and always found peace and happiness near the water.

On November 25, 2020, Israel joined his parents, Lorenzo and Nicholasa Scott in heaven.

Intimately known as "Pops" was a loving father, devoted to his family and especially his grandchildren. Popo was the biggest fan to whatever sport his grandchildren played and saw the best in them in everything they did. Pops was a private man, brutally honest, and cared for everyone. Pops loved spending time with his children and grandchildren fishing. Back home in Corpus Christi is where Pops will be laid to rest.

Israel is survived by his three children, Israel Jr, Michael and Nikki; sisters, Esther, Odelia, Paula; brothers, Armando and Jimmy; grandchildren, Michael Lee, Aiden, Ryan, Tim Jr, Lorenzo and Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Memory Gardens cemetery.
