Isabel C. Mejia, passed away on October 22, 2018 at the age of 83. She was born November 5, 1934 to Juan and Agustina Castanon.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Rosie M. Garcia.
Isabel was a devoted mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her children: Alex (Norma) Mejia, Diana (Sam) Garcia, Linda (Cecil) Starcher, Jesse Mejia, and Mario (Danel) Mejia; 16 Grandchildren, Yvette, Samantha, Joe Alex, Sammy, Simon, Adri, Valerie, Bianca, Sabrina, Alyssa, AJ, Ryan, Steven, Dana, Jenni & Addison; 20 Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Mary Lou Rivas & Ricarda Luera and numerous of nieces and nephews.
SERVICES:
Rosary: Friday, October 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown. Funeral Mass: October 27, 2018 @ 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Cathedral Catholic Church, 505 N. Upper Broadway and burial to follow at Memory Gardens, 8200 Old Brownsville Road. Reception to follow afterwards at Guardian Hall, 5813 Ayers.
