Isabel Mota Chapa

Our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma passed way at Windsor Calallen on July 29th.  She died at the age of 99 years.  She kept asking for Jesus and his Mother Mary to take her.  She got her wish.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 07, 1923.  She lived most of her life in Corpus Christi except when her husband was stationed in Calif. during WW II. They moved back to Corpus Christi after the war.  She worked as a house cleaner her whole life. Our Mamasita was an avid reader of Time magazine and Reader's Digest along with the Corpus Christi and San Antonio newspapers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Julio Chapa, parents Adolfo Mota and Petra Adame Mota, an infant son at birth, sons Ignacio Chapa, Julio Chapa Jr., Ismael Chapa, Inez Chapa,  granddaughter Sylvia Soliz, brother Pedro Mota and sister Carmen Trevino.
She is survived by her son Israel (Grace) Chapa and her daughter Irene Sanchez; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great-great
grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved.
Her greatest love was for her children and their children. She was strong and courageous and will be greatly missed.
Mamasita nunca te olvidaremos.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 | Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church 3901 Violet Rd. at 10am, there will be a Rosary at 9:30 am before Mass; then the Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery at 11:30 am
