IE Bud Behrend, 88, passed away from old age surrounded by his family on Sunday5/26/24. He is survived by fiance Lynda Jones, son Bourke Behrend (Orlando), daughter Jocelyn Dunham (David), grandsons Weston and Samuel Dunham, niece Elizabeth Cleveland (Bob) and her children, and nephew Herbert Beck and his children. He was preceded in death by his wife Becky in 2015. He was a beloved high school science teacher and had a passion for education. He was known for his wit, storytelling, and curiosity. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a kind word, gesture, or smile be extended to another. A private memorial will be held at a later time.
