Irma B. Sanchez, 62, was called home to Our Lord in Heaven on February 14, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Irma was born February 28, 1960 to Hipolito and Carmen Benavidez in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married Henry Sanchez on March 13, 1993.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents Hipolito and Carmen Benavidez, her sister Ester Benavidez, her brothers Edward Benavidez, Ralph Benavidez and Raul Benavidez.

Irma is survived by her sons Armando (Ida) Escatiola, James (Erica) Escatiola, daughters Amanda (Johnny) Castillo, Angela (Juan) Marquez.  Grandchildren, Tristan Pena, Janell Escatiola, Emily Escatiola, Anthony Escatiola, Jurnee Escatiola, Angelina Marquez and Amaris Marquez.

Irma worked at the CCSSLC for 20+ years and devoted her time to her clients with dignity and love.  She is remembered by her fellow co-workers as hard caring but understanding loving "Boss Lady."

Irma was also known for being a pet lover, feeding her birds everyday in the front yard, and being loved by her two dogs, Biggie and Tiny.

The family will start to receive friends and family at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Immediately following the conclusion of the Burial, the family will be gathering at
Alexia's Event Center , located at: 2429 Johanna St, Corpus Christi, TX 78415
