Iris Delia Almodovar passed away on September 13, 2024 at the age of 75. Iris was born January 28, 1949 in Guanica, Puerto Rico to Miguel Aviles and Rita Vega Ramos. Iris was married to Felipe Almodovar Pons.

Felipe Almodovar Jr., Ivelisse Almodovar , Iris Cruz (Son in law), Raymond Cruz and Raquel Almodovar

Grandchildren:
Ivelisse Rivera Zaragosa(Fernando Zaragosa III), Elena Maria Rivera and Jameel Malek West

Great Grandchildren:
Jeremiah Isaiah Zaragosa, Jake Aaron Pantoja, Leah Isabella Pantoja And many more children of choice

Iris has been a faithful servant of God for over 27 years. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many.  She became a mother of choice to many. Those who needed a mom, aunt or grandma, because to her blood did not matter. Whoever needed her, she was there with arms wide open, a listening ear and a word. She loved the Lord with everything in her. She spoke God's word into peoples lives. She loved gardening, crocheting, cooking and dancing salsa. It made her heart full when she saw people enjoying her cooking (especially her rice and beans). She left her imprint in everyone's lives.  She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th at Guardian Funeral Home from 4:30-7:30pm with the Memorial Service to begin at 6:00pm.
