Irene F. Barrios, 86, passed away on April 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Charlotte, Texas on October 25, 1927. Mrs. Barrios was preceded in death by her parents, Jose L. Flores and Felipa Flores, her husband, Trinidad T. Barrios, two sisters, Frances Gonzales, Concepcion Valdez, two brothers, Donaciano Flores and Jose Flores, Jr., and a grandson, Steven Vasquez. She is survived by her children, five daughters, Guadalupe Vasquez, Mary Ann (Juan) Alba, Sarina Barrios (Jose L. Arrellano), Donna Irene (Manuel G.) Deleon, Felicitas Barrios, three sons, Felipe Barrios, Ernesto (Annette) Barrios of Washington, Blas T. Barrios, 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, four sisters, Bertha (Raul) Martinez, Angelita SiFuentes, Mary Perez and Felipa (Johnny) Pena, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with Services to begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers at Angel Bright Hospice and to Whataburger.
