" Until We Meet Again"

On Sunday May 17 at 6:05am Ignacio R. Cruz, Sr. 87, went to our lord. He was born in Marion TX on Feburary 1, 1928 to Agapito Cruz and Conception Rangel. Ignacio was a Veteran of the US Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Aguirre Cruz, sons Agapito and Felix Cruz, sisters Juanita Chapa and Severina Garcia and bother Esteven Cruz.

Ignacio is survived by his son Ignacio Cruz, Jr.and Alicia Cruz. He is also survived by daughters in law Juanita Cruz and Gracie Cruz, brothers Pablo Cruz, Andes (Martha) Cruz and Juan (Bonnie) Cruz. Sisters Juan (Isodora) Gonzales and Rodolfo (Mary) Suarez. 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his entire family.

Ignacio Cruz was an avid carpenter whose passion was building wooden outdoor funiture and also enjoyed making menudo for the family.

Funeral Services will be at Guardian Funeral Home 5922 Crosstown Corpus Christi TX 78417 with the veiwing beginning at 5pm and rosary at 7pm on Thursday May 21st. Graveside services will be at 11am on May 22 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
