Idalia Saenz Garcia, age 59, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Corpus Christi on June 1, 1956, to Juan and Lucia Saenz.
She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Imelda Acuna.
Idalia will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 36 years, Mathew Garcia; sons, Roel Navarro and Matt Juan Garcia; daughters, Amy Garcia, Annie (Rene) Vasquez, and Ashley (Joe) Parker; grandchildren, Noel, Christopher, Marc, Ryan, Serenity, Xavier, Roel Jr., Rene Jr., Aaliyah, Joe Anthony and Royce.
She is survived by her brother Juan (Maria) Saenz and sisters, Isaura (Fide) Abundez, Isabel Saenz, Irma Saenz, and Iris Saenz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
