It is with great sadness that the family of Hervey C. "Pete" Roddy, age 84, announce his passing after a long illness on April 3, 2020, in Corpus Christi, Texas.  He was born February 14, 1936, in Corpus Christi and was a lifelong resident.  He was a proud member of the first graduating class of W. B. Ray High School in 1954.  After high school, he attended Del Mar College.  Through the years, Hervey enjoyed traveling, camping with family, gardening, restoring and riding Cushman motor scooters.  He was a member of the Cushman Club of America and the Coastal A's and Rods.  He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Astros and the Corpus Christi Hooks.

Hervey will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary R. Roddy, two children and six stepchildren.  Tom A. Hervey was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.
