Mr. Hector "Pichee" Garcia, 73, passed away on December 13, 2022.  Pichee was a proud graduate of Roy Miller High School Class of 1968! Once a Buc always a Buc! He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was retired from the Corpus Christi Army Depot.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Imelda Y. Garcia on May 12, 2003. His Brother Luis J. Garcia, his sister Criselda Garcia, and niece Gabriella Garcia.

Pichee is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Garcia, sister-in-law Sylvia Garcia, daughters, Jessica Ybarra, Yvonne & Alvino Reyna, nieces, Clarissa Garcia, Esmeralda & Rick Fuentes, and nephew Luis Patrick & Ofelia Garcia. Grandchildren Raquel Reyna, Jessie Ybarra, and Sabryna Reyna.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the founding members of the Patriot's Band and Honor Guard.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Guardian funeral home chapel "B" with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart Guardian funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic church 2509 Nogales St./MacArthur.  Burial will follow with Full military honors rendered by the Patriots Honor Guard Memorial Team of which Pichee was a founding member.
