Hector "Chiquito" Davila, 68, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, May 4, 2018.
He was born on June 16, 1949, in Corpus Christi TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rafael Davila, Dolores Mercado Davila and Grandson Emmanuel Davila.
Hector leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Yolanda Davila, h is son Hector Davila Jr., his daughters, Lisa Garcia, Brenda A. Davila, and Sandra A. Garcia. Nine Grandchildren: Abel Garza Jr., Lesley Garcia, Ryan Garza, Estrella Alexis Davila, Samantha Garcia, Oscar Garcia III, Hector Davila III, Teresa Garcia, Esperanza Garcia. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Manuela Deleon, Rafael Davila Jr, Arcelia "Chela" Guzman, Geraldo Davila, and Ruben Davila.
Davila family will start to receive friends and family on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''A"" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic church, 710 S. 19th. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
