Hector Michael Garcia completed his earthly journey on his 66 th birthday surrounded by his loving family on April 28, 2022.

A beloved husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. A fter many years of devoted service he retired from Flint Hills Resources. He continued working for Onyx Safety Services until his passing. Although it is impossible to sum up such a great life in only a few words; Hector was a hardworking man with a strong work ethic. One of the greatest lessons he instilled in those around him was to always be proud of your work and to never give up! The love and strength that he blessed our family with will live on for generations to come.

He joins now in heaven his parents Eubaldo and Emma Garcia, and brother David Garcia.

Hector leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 22 years Belinda Guajardo-Garcia; children: Jeannette (Steven) Viera, Gabriel (Tracy) Garcia, Valerie (Eric) Cantu, Arnold (Chriselda) Flores, Melissa Flores, Guadalupe Garza, III; grandchildren: Ashley, Alyssa, Troy, Ariah, Zeta, Joe Avery, Olivia Hope, Adaline Faith, Israel, Aidan, Belinda Amy, Miranda, Sierra, Savannah, Mikayla, Mariah, Eric, Jr., Jacob, Caleb, Ethan, Sarina + , Bianca Annette, Belinda Anyssa, and Arnold; siblings: Elia (John) Medrano, Ramiro (Rebecca) Garcia, and Linda (Carlos) Ramirez; parents-in-law Guadalupe and Estella Guajardo; brothers-in-law : Guadalupe Guajardo, Jr. +, Arturo (Iris) Guajardo, Albert Guajardo, Arnold Guajardo; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sergio Tavares, MD and his staff, the Doctors, nurses, and all staff of Corpus Christi Medical Center - Doctors Regional and to Coastal Cardiology for the care they gave to Hector M. Garcia.

Public Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 3502 Saratoga Blvd.; Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37 Access Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78410
