Guillerma Torres Medina age 89 died on Monday 27 July 2020 at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital-Shoreline.  She was the wife of the late Salome M. Medina Jr.  They shared 68 years of marriage.  She was born on August 14, 1930 in Taft Texas, she was the daughter of Edmundo "Lico" R. and Olivia Torres.   Guillerma  was a housewife, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by 3 sons: Salome Carlos (Nelda) Medina, Alberto T. Medina, Rene (Susan) Medina.  2 daughters, Rosario "Rosie" Soliz" and Odilia "Odie" Edge.

Grandchildren: Valerie (Daniel) Valdez, Carlos Rey Medina, Eric Lee Medina, Monica Marie (John) Garza.  Melvin (Christina) Mason, April (Marco) Mason, Andrew (Elizabeth) Mason, Melissa Soliz, Melinda (Albert) Ruiz, Michelle Martinez, John David DeLeon, Cassandra Deleon, Heather Medina, Nikolas Medina and Guillermo Medina.

Great grandchildren: Cristalyn Valdez, Noah Valdez, Adrian Valdez, Gabriella "Gaby" Ramirez, McKenzie Garza, Eva Garza, John Michael Garza Jr., Caitlin Danielle DeLeon, Brianne Gonzalez, Ryan Peraino, Dylan Ruiz, Arriana Valdez, Ariel Valdez, Amanda Valdez, Jorge Valdez, Cali Mason, Caleb Mason, Samuel Mason, Jesse Gutierrez, James Martinez, Miranda Martinez.

Great-Great grandchild: Cassian Allen, Grace Valdez and Alyxzander Valdez.

Brothers, Edmundo S. (Lupita) Torres, Eliseo (Nieves) Torres.  Sisters Amelia (Johnny) Trevino and Sophia (Coronado) Alaniz.

Guillerma is preceded in death by her husband Salome M. Medina Jr. and a daughter Elizabeth "Liz" M. Mason, her parents Edmundo R. and Olivia Torres and a younger sister Adela Maria Torres.

Public Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church

Burial to follow in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Salome Morales Medina, Jr.
