IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Guadalupe "Lupe"
Valle Moreno
March 19, 1947 – December 18, 2020
Guadalupe (Lupe) Valle Moreno joined her parents in heaven on December 18, 2020. She left peacefully in her sleep. Lupe is proceeded in death by her parents, Miguel and Mary Valle, and her grandson Aaron Moreno. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Rudolfo (Rudy), her two sons, Rudy Moreno (Grace) and Randy V. Moreno (Becky Trout), her four grandchildren, Zachary Moreno, Miranda Moreno, Mia Moreno, and Brandon Moreno. Also left behind is sister Dora V. Flores (Fred) their daughters (Dina and Destiny) and sister Oralia V. Ramirez (Felix), plus numerous close relatives, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces who were all welcomed.
Lupe was born to Miguel and Mary Valle on March 19, 1947 in Harlingen, Texas. She was the youngest in her family. She was employed with Gregory Portland ISD for over 30 years until her retirement in 2011. Lupe knew no strangers. She befriended everyone she met with her personality of gold. She was always ready to extend a helping hand to those who needed it and gave her time freely. Lupe loved all that shined (bling) which ironically was so reflective of who she was - a shining star to many! Wherever she was, laughter, music, conversation, and fun followed. She loved attending dances with her love, Rudy, and danced the night away. Her favorite was Little Joe. Black and gold were her colors of preference and she loved deserts, especially lemon bars and lemon pie. Her fur babies were her daily companions and considered family. She never referred to them as cats. They were her babies. She was the epitome of living life to its fullest. Her legacy will live on through her two sons. THANK YOU MOM, for all the wonderful memories you leave etched in our hearts.
We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all who reached out to the family with prayers, condolences, words of remembrance, visits, and the dropping of meals. GOD BLESS each and every one of you from all of us. We will leave you with a quote that resonates our loss:
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2020 followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic church, 107 Church St. in Gregory, Texas.
"Remember me with smiles and laughter
for that is how I will remember you all.
If you can only remember me with tears,
then don't remember me at all."
...............Michael Landon
