Guadalupe Fuentes Soto
Corpus Christi, TX
Guadalupe Fuentes Soto, 80, went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 1, 2013. She was born in Afton, Texas to Mr. Jesus and Esperanza Fuentes Sr., on November 21, 1932.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albino Soto Jr.; her parents, Jesus Fuentes Sr., and Esperanza Fuentes; two grandchildren, Brandon and Karlin Guerra Soto; a brother, Raul Fuentes and her sister, Olivia Morales.
She is survived by her children: Mary Garza, Irma (Tony) Garza, Cindy (Jerry) DeLeon, Al (Lillian) Soto, Elva (Rosendo) Segura, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be: Al Soto; Derrick, John, and Edward Garza; John Eric, Bobby, T.J. Garza, Jerry and John DeLeon. Honarary Pall Bearers: Patrick and Jacob Cisneros and Justin Guerra.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2013, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel A (Between Saratoga and Holly on Hwy 286 south, crosstown expressway).
Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
