Guadalupe S. Silvas entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven on September 5, 2023. She passed away peacefully with her husband Jesse by her side who cherished their 71 years of marriage and comforted with family around her.

Guadalupe was born on December 8, 1932 in Beeville, Texas. She settled with her husband in Corpus Christi, Texas. She achieved a Nursing Assistant certificate in 1972.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband Jesse C. Silvas, daughters: Ester (Oscar) Alvarez, Belinda Silvas (Jose) Saucedo and Jessica (Veronica) Sanchez. Joining in Heaven her beloved daughter: Sylvia J. Chaabavizadeh.  Further Survived by Grandchildren: Bryan, Joseph, Marcus, Sharah Monique, Anthony, Megan (Emilbek) and Amanda. Great Grandchildren: Callista, Lena, Jack, Owen and Elim.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with Recital of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 a.m. followed by Liturgy of the Word.

Guadalupe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Great grandmother, neighbor and friend loved by so many. She was a role model for us all in the way she led her life, pursued what brought her joy and generous in the way she loved and care for her family.
