Our beloved Guadalupe "Lupe" G. Moya was called to rest with the heavenly angels on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the age of 79 years old in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones praying over her.
Guadalupe was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 2, 1944, and was raised by the midwife and her husband, Eugenio & Hilaria Gill.
She was a strong and resilient woman who endured many hardships throughout her lifetime which she handled with dignity and grace. Along with being a hard worker and a successful entrepreneur, she was a devoted catholic and a dedicated prayer warrior for everyone she knew. She had strong family and religious values that she instilled in her children. She loved spending time with her family, laughing and reminiscing, listening to music and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
She was a devoted wife for over 60 years to her soulmate Francisco Moya.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend who dedicated her time and energy to her family. Along with being a devoted catholic since childhood, she was also a member of several rosary prayer groups throughout the years.
She was a beautiful person who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio & Hilaria Gill, brothers, and sisters. She is survived by her Husband: Francisco Moya, Children: Edward (Mari) Moya, Frank (Audrey) Moya, Elizabeth Moya (Andy Rodriguez), Ruth Moya, Sarah (Rocky) Esquivel, and her stepsons Frank Moya Jr., Jimmy (Mary Lou) Moya, Larry (Cindy) Moya, and Joe Moya, Sister: Bernabe Flores, Grandchildren: Michelle Moya, Monica Moya, Justin (Daysia) Moya, David (Omega) Moya, Samantha (Keegan) Resendiz, Sara Moya, Rachel Moya, Adam Moya, Andrew (fiancée Ashlyn and Elias) Rodriguez, Trinity Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Julianna Polanco, Rebecca Polanco, Rocky Esquivel II, Summer Esquivel, Frank (Erin) Moya III, Jennifer Boyd, Chris Ayala, Julian Ayala, Brittany (Rey) Flores, Larry (Rosa) Moya, Lance (Stephanie) Moya Sr., Great-grandchildren: Alyssa Arriaga, Christian Arriaga, Noah Arriaga, Hayden Moya, Damien Moya, Emilia Moya, Jayce Moya, Lilyana Moya, Riley Resendiz, Karsen Resendiz, Elijah Resendiz, Riley Moya, Bradley Moya, Rowan Moya, Kai May, Donovyn May, Ayden Boyd, Kayden Ashley, Rey Flores Jr., Madison Moya, Larry Moya, Luke Moya, Lance Moya Jr., Stassi Moya, Great-great-grandchildren: Lazer May; along with cousins and friends whom she loved.

We will be forever grateful to the nurses and staff members at Angel Bright Hospice, Corpus Christi, Texas. Thank You for your guidance in our time of need as well as your patience with our large loud family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1st at Guardian Funeral Home from 4-8pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm . Visitation will resume at 9am on Friday, February 2nd and we will be departing Guardian Funeral Home at 11am to go to Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church for an 11:30am Funeral Mass . The Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1pm .
