Guadalupe Medina Martinez, 69, passed away on May 24, 2016, and was finally reunited with the love of his life, Elida Wilmot Martinez. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. His passion and career was Law Enforcement. He worked for Nueces County for over 20 years; serving as the Deputy Constable, a Bailiff , as well as, a Jailer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Rosalia Martinez; his loving wife of over 38 years, Elida. He is survived by his children, Laura Ann Martinez (Nelda), Iris Marie Martinez, J.J. Martinez (Bridget), and Bruno Luis Martinez (Rebekah); grandchildren, Jayden, Logan, Alana, and Ellie. Numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with services starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
