IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gloria Deleon
Rodriguez
November 19, 1944 – February 17, 2026
In Loving Memory of
November 19, 1944 – February 17, 2026
Gloria D. Rodriguez, 81, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, just as she said she always would -at home, watching television, surrounded by the simple comfort she loved most.
Born on November 19, 1944, to Juan Deleon and Elisa Rodriguez DeLaSierra, Gloria grew into a woman defined by strength, compassion, and determination. She began her professional life at Texas Instruments, but at the age of 40, she courageously followed her calling into nursing. Gloria became both a dedicated flight transport nurse and a NICU nurse, serving the most fragile patients and their families with steady hands and a fearless heart. Her work was not just a career- it was a testament to her deep capacity for care.
Gloria was married to her beloved husband, Daniel C. Rodriguez, who preceded her in death. Their marriage was the foundation of a loving family that she cherished deeply. She was a devoted mother to Danny Rodriguez and Elisa Rodriguez, and a proud grandmother to Christina Marie Arzuaga (David Arzuaga) Nicolas A. Rodriguez preceded her in death, Cecily Elisa Rodriguez, and Seth Amadeo Rodriguez.
Her legacy continued to grow through her great grandchildren: Gianna Elise Arzuaga, Luca David Arzuaga, Andrew David Arzuaga, Aviana Rhee Gonzalez, and Willow Rae Salinas, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
She also leaves behind her lovely nephew, Louis Aaron De La Sierra (Vannessa De La Sierra) and Family
Gloria found happiness in life's simple pleasures- going to the movies, watching films at home, and spending cozy evenings in front of the television. She often said she hoped to pass away while watching TV, and in true Gloria fashion, she did exactly that- peacefully and on her own terms.
She is now reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband Daniel and all those who welcomed her home.
Gloria will be remembered for her resilience, her humor, her devotion to family, and the countless lives she touched through her nursing. Her love lives on in the generations she leaves behind, and she will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Her biggest wish in life is for everyone to pray the rosary everyday.
