It is with deep sorrow and boundless love that we announce the passing of Giselda "Gisi" Coronado, age 65, on August 3rd. She was surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born in Taft, TX in 1959, Giselda lived a life defined by strength, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend, she brought light and laughter to every room she entered. She loved to dance and care for children. Her compassion, wisdom, and fierce love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Giselda was the proud and loving mother of Cameron and Criselda Coronado, whom she raised with grace, patience, and enduring care. Her love continued to flourish through her cherished grandchildren, Henry and Felicity Coronado, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

She shared a long and devoted marriage with her husband, Christobal Coronado, and in later years, a tender companionship with her partner, Manuel Garcia. Giselda's heart was expansive, always finding room to love and support those close to her.

Whether gathered around her kitchen table or simply sitting in her presence, loved ones knew Giselda as a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love.

Giselda leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and deep familial bonds. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at 3pm. Friends are welcome at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Coronado family.

Rest in peace to the Dancing Queen, Giselda. Your love lives on in each of us. We will all dance in your memory.
