Gilberto A. Robles, 76, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on April 13, 1940 to Anastacio and Geronima Arrendondo Robles. He will always be remembered for his straight forward nature and outspoken humor, a hard working man who always did right for his family, he loved to hunt, fish, do family vacations, and a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan. Gilbert, also known as "Hive", was a good husband, father, brother, uncle and cousin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 59 years, Rachel C. Robles, one brother, five sisters, and a daughter-in-law. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beloved children, Maria DeRosario C. Robles Garcia (Manuel), Ricardo C. Robles, Nancy C. Robles Garcia (Tomas), his sister, Rosa R. Reyna (Clemente), brother, Luis Robles (Olga), nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly and greatly missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be held at Guardian Funeral Home on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
