Gilbert William Guerra Jr., passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 63. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 10, 1957 to Gilbert and Oliva Guerra. Beloved husband, grandfather, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Gilbert enjoyed many years racing a '54 Metallic Blue Malibu, driving trucks and motorcycles across Texas, raising horses, fixing anything he can take a wrench to, and teaching those around him how to fix things instead of fixing things for them. When it breaks or needs repair, you'll then  know how to do it on your own. Gilbert was also known by his close family members by a name given to him by an announcer as he rolled up to the starting line when he raced his Malibu…"ladies and gentleman, it's SHOWTIME!".

Gilbert leaves behind to cherish these memories: wife of 21 years Graciela Guerra; 4 children: Gilbert William Guerra III, Rafael Martinez-Mayorga, Laura Martinez-Mayorga, Angelica Marengo; 5 grandchildren: Turok, Izabella, Dominique, Lorenzo, and Amora; along with a host of other members of the family and countless friends whom he loved.
