On Friday, September 24, 2021, Gerardo "Jerry" Garcia went to be with our Lord and his family in Heaven. Jerry was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 1, 1953.

Many families and friends in the area knew Jerry as a hardworking and loving husband, father, grandfather and a dear, life long friend. Jerry loved his family, his dog Jack and all his granddoggies and grandcats.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Beatriz Garcia, brothers Oscar Garcia (Lucy), Orlando Garcia (Jeanie). He is survived by his wife, Estella Garcia; his children: Jerry, Jr. (Clara), Dolores, Steven (Veronica) and Christopher (Christina) and his grandchildren: Justin, Jacob, Isabela, Keon, Brandon and Liam, sister Olivia Ovalle and brother Daniel Garcia, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Garcia family will start to receive friends and family at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home chapel ''A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
