In her younger years, Georgia worked as a hotel clerk for several hotels. Then she got her dream job, being a mom! Even though the first few years of being a mom was tough she did her best with the love and support of her mother and sister. Being a mom became easier when she met the love of her life, Allen (Sam) Herriot. She met Allen at her mother's apartment in 1982 and it was love at first sight. On May 25th, 1990, Georgia and Allen were forever united in marriage. After that day they were almost inseparable. Their marriage was a true statement to love conquers all and never dies.
Georgia's first love was her family and friends which were like family. She most enjoyed having everyone get together for potluck dinners. Georgia would gleam with happiness shooting from eyes when she would see all of the people she loved. Georgia loved board games such as Risk, Monopoly, and Hero Quest. One of her favorite times, was Saturday night game night! Her sister, D and best friend Don would go to her house to play epic board game battles that would last till dawn. Georgia also had interest in a slew computer games such as You Don't Know Jack, Spades, and Solitaire. Georgia enjoyed her console games such as Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest and Gauntlet. Georgia had a love for dancing and country music, which she enjoyed with her friends, sister, and cousins. Later she passed that love down to her children by teaching them a few steps herself. Georgia had a very close bond with two cousins in particular, Kathy and Kevin. Even though she loved all her cousins, Kathy and Kevin were the closest. Georgia was proud to call herself and Kathy, "two peas in a pod".
