Georgia Warner Corothers, was called home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born on November 17, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas, to her loving parents George Henry Warner and Earline Rodgers Hall.
Georgia is preceded by her parents, and her brother Liston Henry Warner.
By the grace of God, Georgia accepted Christ at a young age as a Baptist in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School Class of '52, and continued her education, becoming a licensed cosmetologist, a profession from which she was proudly retired.
Georgia was a fun, loving soul, with a kind heart. Her love of travel and adventurous spirit brought her to live on both the east coast and the west coast. A very independent woman, with a strong will and great trust in God. Her beautiful smile could fill even the darkest room, she will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Georgia leaves behind to cherish her memories, brother Roy Hall, Jr. (Susan); sister Jean Esther Hall Howard (Albert); brother Randy Hall (Vivian); special nephew Curtis Grant Hall, Jr., special niece Joy Warner Carson; her two loving pets, of which she treated as children, Brandi and Sasha; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends all of whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will begin at 9am Monday, August 20, 2018, with the Funeral Service at 11am at Brooks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church 2101 N Port Ave.
