IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George G.
Villalon
February 25, 1946 – December 5, 2024
George G. Villalon, age 79, passed away on December 5th 2024. He was born in San Antonio TX, but was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from ray high school in 1965 and joined the Air Force shortly after. He served for eight years; he was an active member of the American Legion Post 0364 for 32 years and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8932.
George owned a family business, Wight's Collisions Repairs, Inc. for 35 1/2 years. Having had the business for these many years, he had numerous business friends and acquaintances doing business with several local and surrounding areas. Some of which include A.R.I./Holman Fleet Services, Bishop ISD, City of Corpus Christi, Police and Sheriff's Department, CC state school, CPL, Flour bluff ISD, Nueces County Public Works, Nueces Electric Co-op (NEC), Port of Corpus Christi, Spectrum, U-Haul Rental Services and UPS...... to name a few.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Soila (Elva) Villalon, his children, George Villalon, IV (Terry), Roland Villalon, Sr.,(Melissa) and seven grandchildren, George Aaron, George Thomas, Lisette, Brianna, Cassandra, Roland (RJ) and Ryan Villalon.
During his last days he felt he had served his purpose in life, by serving his country and serving God by always giving a helping hand to those individuals who had experienced hard times and unable to be employed elsewhere. George always believed that it takes all kinds to make this world and at the end we are all God's children.
His philosophy was "work hard and enjoy life; do not wait until you retire for the so-called GOLDEN YEARS, they may not be so golden after all."
There will be no services held at George's request.
The family would like to express thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Christus Hospice and Palliative Care - Spohn and Visiting Angels.
The family also wishes to extend their sincere thanks and deep gratitude fo all expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness shown by all relatives, friends and neighbors during these difficult times
