George Lee Cooper, 68, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Angel Bright Hospice facility.

George was born in Brownsville, Texas on April 10, 1955. He has proudly called Corpus Christi, Texas home for the last 23 years.

A beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather is now at rest.  George was a jack of all trades and gladly shared his talents with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, jet skiing, and spending time boat riding, but his favorite pastime was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. There was just something about the open road that always brought him great peace.

He was preceded in death by a son, Sam Cooper and a grandson Noah Cooper, Jr., sister-in-law Annette, and grandpa Aaron Hinojosa.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his sister, Sadie Johnson and brother-in-law, Rick Johnson, former wife, Sandra Cooper, his children, George, Jr., Lazaro and Noah, grandchildren, Isaiah, Marissa, Nathlynn, Nathaniel, Aidan, Adrina, Taven, great-grandchildren, Noah, Orlando and Nathaniel, Jr., along with a host of extended family and friends whom he loved.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 p.m.
