Gabriela "Gaby" Pinedo, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 23, 2017. Gaby was born on January 2, 1960, in Mexico City to Carlos and Silvia Von Hauske. As a young girl she loved to play tennis and played in national tournaments. As a teenager, she experienced the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" and then eagerly sought to have more of the Lord in her life. Chris and Gaby had four boys, Daniel, Carlos, Christopher and Michael. In 1993, Chris and Gaby moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. Her boys attended Annapolis Christian Academy and Gaby was ever present at football and basketball games and she led a prayer ministry at Annapolis called "Mom's In Touch". She also formed and led a Spanish prayer group at St. Philip's Catholic Church. Gaby had a great sense of humor and many of her friends have humorous "Gaby stories" to tell. A constant theme of her life was her passion for the Lord. She was always telling people about the love of God and she has counseled many women in their Christian walk. She is preceded in death by her father Carlos Von Hauske.
