Gabriel Gonzalez, 36, passed away October 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 20, 1976 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Veronica Gonzalez and his grandfather, Maximiliano Arredondo.
Gabriel was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, friend and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kristi Dunn, children, Julian Ballard, Jenavive Ballard and Jaxon Bradley Gonzalez, his parents, Jose Z. Gonzalez, Jr., and Hilda Arredondo Gonzalez, his grandmother, Carolina Arredondo, his siblings, Cristoval Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, III (Angela), Omar Gonzalez, Joe Jerry Gonzalez (Diana), nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Services and Celebration of Gabriel's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel A. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial park. Pallbearers will be Cristoval Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, III, Omar Gonzalez, Joe Jerry Gonzalez, Jacob Gonzalez, Hilario Lugo, Jr., and Adam Torres.
