Gabriel Castillo, 57, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on September 18, 1967, Gabriel's life was one marked by devotion to his family, a passion for adventure, and a remarkable skill with his hands.

Gabriel, a proud graduate of King High School, went on to establish a successful career as a plumber. His dedication to his craft was only matched by his commitment to the people he served. Colleagues and clients alike will remember Gabriel for his reliability and the skillful touch he brought to his work. His involvement in various associations within his field demonstrated his passion for his profession and his desire to contribute to the betterment of his community.

Family was the cornerstone of Gabriel's world. He is survived by his loving mother, Estella Crawford; his dear daughter, Amber Castillo; and his adored granddaughters, Paiton Victoria and Madalynn Kennedy Castillo. Gabriel's legacy of love and strength will also live on through his siblings: Alex, Ruben, Rudy, and Travis Kent, as well as his sisters, Jeanette and Irene. Each family member will carry forward the memory of his loving spirit.

Gabriel's adventurous spirit was evident to all who knew him. He lived his life with a zest for new experiences and a willingness to explore the unknown. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 starting at 4:00 p.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel until 7:00 p.m.
