Fred Hernandez Robles, III, was called home on November 18, 2023 at the age of 79.

He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents Fred S. Robles, Jr. and Maria Hernandez Robles on September 7, 1944.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest. It would be nearly impossible to describe such a great life in only a few words. He was a man of integrity, loyalty and wisdom. Fred received his formal education at W.B. Ray High School, graduating in the Class of 1966.  He dedicated over 25 years of service to the Corpus Christi Army Depot, from which he proudly retired in the early 90's.

On January 9, 1971, two hearts were joined as one, as Fred H. Robles, III and Maria Elena Dominguez, joined in the sacrament of marriage. Through this holy union came two beautiful children and a lifetime of sweet memories. Fred was devoted to his family, always ensuring they were well provided for. He taught his children to be strong, loyal, independent and caring. He was blessed to spend many priceless moments with his grandchildren, passing down his knowledge and wisdom every chance he could.

Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to the rock of our family, but we know that his legacy will live on generations to come.

He is joined now in heaven by his parents Fred S. Robles, Jr. and Maria Hernandez Robles.

Fred leaves behind to cherish these memories, his beloved wife of 52 years Maria Elena Robles, his children: Roland Eric Robles and Tricia R. Prado; grandchildren: Aiden Eric Robles, Ava Lauret Robles, Sebastian Eric Garcia, Izayah Garcia, Noah Garcia; brothers: Arturo (Theresa) Robles and Robert (Janie) Robles; along with a host of extended members of the family and friends whom he loved.

Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown , with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral, 505 N. Upper Broadway St ., with the Burial to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St.
